Through the development of Covid-19 we have been considering many options about in-person international events and the future of the International Quinoa Research Symposium (IQRS) and, after weighing many variables, we have made the decision to move to an online venue as a free event. We will be refunding your ticket on Brown Paper Tickets and you should see it returned to your card within a few weeks. Just a heads up, their processing time is backed up due to such high demand but we have put in the order and have been notified that it is on it's way. 

Since you already went through the registration process we will automatically register you for the online symposium unless we hear back from you by Wednesday May 13th. We are still devoted to making this virtual symposium far-reaching, vibrant, educational, and interactive. 

We are more committed than ever to the health, biodiversity, accessibility, and food security of quinoa worldwide and we hope you are still willing to join us as participants in this online frontier. By bringing this international event to an online forum, it is our hope that this change will make the curriculum of live keynotes and invited talks, recorded field walks and oral presentations, interactive poster sessions, and online discussion forums accessible to an even wider audience than our previous incarnation would have permitted.
